Whether advocating for sensible food regulations or educational programs to nurture the next generation of food industry leaders, Coast Packing has been an active presence on the scene for generations.
Coast Packing Company is a Founding Supporter of the Healthy Fats Coalition (HFC – www.healthyfatscoalition.org), an educational initiative dedicated to advancing awareness of traditional and healthy fats as an enduring part of the American diet. Coast has long occupied leadership roles in key industry organizations, including The Meat Institute (MI), the Institute of Shortenings and Edible Oils (ISEO), and the North American Renderers Association (NARA), supporting responsible sourcing, sustainability, and the continued role of animal fats in the food system. Beyond the food industry, Coast is also active in motorsports through R&E Racing, competing in both the Professional Drag Racers Association (PDRA) and National Muscle Car Association (NMCA) circuits.
