Amber Davalos

Amber Davalos brings over 13 years of experience in human resources, with deep expertise in people management, employee relations, and organizational development. Her journey into HR started unexpectedly—after organizing an unforgettable company party, she discovered a talent for creating meaningful, engaging work experiences. That moment sparked a passion for helping people thrive in the workplace.

Amber holds a B.A. in Sociology and Criminology with a Pre-Law emphasis from Mount St. Mary’s University, along with a Paralegal Certificate.

Although she originally envisioned a career in the courtroom, she soon realized her true calling was cultivating people-first cultures, not writing legal briefs.

She believes that HR, like hospitality, goes far beyond policies and procedures—it’s about building inclusive, values-driven cultures powered by people, passion, and purpose.

Outside of work, you’ll find Amber exploring the world or hitting the pavement. A dedicated runner, she’s on a personal mission to log 365 miles a year—one for each day (though not necessarily all in a row).
